About Us

What began as a simple dream—a quiet piece of land and a desire to serve—has grown into a community-centered vision for wellness, faith, and growth.

As a military family who has navigated seasons of transition, challenge, and rebuilding, we understand the deep need for spaces that invite peace and restoration. BraggTower Ranch exists as a way of giving back to the community that shaped us—a place where healing feels natural, support feels genuine, and people are welcomed exactly as they are.

Inspired by the healing power of horses, land stewardship, and community care, BraggTower Ranch is being thoughtfully developed as a space where families, veterans, and future generations can reconnect with nature, slow down, and rediscover a sense of wholeness.

Our work is guided by faith, stewardship, family, and service.

Our Founding Story

BraggTower Ranch carries a name rooted in family, legacy, and service.

The ranch is named after our family and in honor of a family elder, Venon Hightower—a military veteran whose life embodied the values of land stewardship, responsibility, and respect for horses. Through his example, we learned that caring for land is not about ownership, but about tending what has been entrusted to you—and that horses, when treated with patience and dignity, can teach lessons no classroom ever could.

Venon Hightower believed deeply in service—both to country and to community—and passed down a quiet but enduring ethic: work the land with integrity, lead with humility, and leave things better than you found them. Those principles continue to shape the foundation of BraggTower Ranch today.

As a military family, we see BraggTower Ranch as a continuation of that legacy—a place where faith, service, and stewardship come together; where people can reconnect with the land, learn from animals, and experience healing rooted in presence, purpose, and care.

BraggTower Ranch is not just named for our family.
It stands for the values we intend to pass forward.
